Each week, KETV NewsWatch 7 showcases an animal up for adoption at the Nebraska Humane Society.Lillie, a 3-year-old Boxer mix, might be nervous when she first meets you. But if you’re calm and offer her treats and toys, she’ll warm up to you fast! At the shelter she likes to examine every inch of the play yard before playtime starts — she’s very curious! Once she’s decided it’s time to play she can be a little jumpy, luckily our Behavior team has been working with her to make sure she’s very polite for her future forever home.Lillie has been up for adoption since December and doesn’t want to spend another second at the shelter.
