Canton’s Reese homers in Mississippi State loss

BATON ROUGE, La. (KLTV) - Former Canton Eagle Ace Reese hit a home run in Mississippi State’s 8-6 loss to LSU on Thursday.
Batting cleanup and starting at third base, the sophomore was 2-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored. Reese’s two-run shot came in the first inning to give the Bulldogs a 2-0 lead.
For the season, Reese has nine home runs and 36 RBI.
Mississippi State (1-6) is in 13th place in the SEC. The Bulldogs continue the series against LSU Friday at 6:30 p.m.
