Sharing details in the book, author Robert Hofler mentioned that Robert Redford wore two pairs of tight underpants during sex scenes with Streisand to protect himself from the actress who was attracted to him.
Redford originally didn't want to get involved with a woman he "didn't consider a serious actress" and wanted to "protect himself as he was a happily married father of four," according to DailyMail.
