The process of identification of the 13 dead bodies that were transferred by Azerbaijan to Armenia on Monday has started.

Gor Abrahamyan, the spokesman of the Investigative Committee of Armenia, wrote on Facebook that forensic medical and forensic genetic examinations will be carried out on these bodies.

These bodies are unrecognizable.

As of now, Azerbaijan has returned 156 dead bodies to Armenia.

The Ministry of Defense of Armenia announced Monday that Azerbaijan handed over to the Armenian side the bodies of 13 Armenian servicemen who died during the defense of the sovereign territory of Armenia on September 13-14.
